The Ewe-Verein e.V. Hamburg, in collaboration with Ewe Dukor Germany (EDG), and with financial support of the state of Hamburg (District council of Northern Hamburg ) proudly announces the 2nd Ewe Dukor Cultural Festival to be held in Hamburg, Germany. Following the resounding success of the inaugural festival hosted by Ewe Union München e.V. in Munich in May 2023, this year’s edition promises to be even more spectacular.
This biennial festival, built on a rotational system approved by EDG’s executive body, serves as a unifying platform for the Ewe community across Germany. The honor of hosting the 2025 festival was bestowed upon Ewe-Verein e.V. Hamburg at the last EDG general meeting.
We extend an open invitation to our community and friends to come together and celebrate the vibrant culture, rich heritage, and enduring traditions of the Ewe people. The Hamburg festival will also mark the initiation of the annual Dekornu Za and the inauguration of the Ewe chief in Hamburg, adding historic significance to this year’s event.
